Romance Across Borders

OOkami: We first joined Soul Geek in May six years ago, not knowing what to expect. We both checked out each other’s profiles on the site, and she messaged first about our shared interests in sushi, JRPGs, Gundam, and philosophy, books, and video games. We instantly clicked and had a connection.  

Even though she was from Canada and I was from the US, we kept talking, and we moved on from Soul Geek to Discord, then to Skype phone calls, and finally meeting face-to-face. As our connection started to build, we knew that we were right for each other. So here we are, six years later, still together and madly in love. Thanks to Soul Geek, we were able to find each other.

Sugarstars21: I still can’t believe it has been six years! And I still remember that once I saw his photo I thought he was cute, and didn’t think there was any harm in slipping into his inbox. Sure it was online dating, but we wanted to take a chance on it, because life is too short. Thanks to SoulGeek I met a wonderful person who I wouldn't have met otherwise.
