|My SOULGEEK Self:||
I'm a prospect researcher and Marvel fanboy who flies his nerd flag high and proudly. I've been reading comics since age three (Hulk comics in particular), and have been a pop culture sponge for most of my life. Having recently gone through a divorce (totally amiable and as low-drama as such things can get), I'm currently co-raising a lovely little girl while feeding her a diet of Futurama and Twilight Zone. My apartment doubles as a Hulk shrine, and I likely have more toys than the average child. But, hey, I stopped taking them into the tub with me about five years back, so there's that. Maturity!
|The SoulGeek I'm Looking For:||
I'm looking for someone who skews closer to my interests, basically, in an effort to have conversations about my passions that aren't so one-sided. I'm also looking for someone to play board games with, teach HeroClix to, and consume nerd media alongside. It has been years since I've been able to sit down and have a good nerd-centric discussion, so I'm trying to find someone with whom I can have that rapport.
Also, points added for love of The Venture Bros.

|Why I love Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy, Animation, etc...||
I couldn't tell you why, but comics just resonated with me at an early age. I latched onto the Hulk as a toddler and never stopped, which led me to broaden my horizons into various other outlets of "geekdom." I feel like the escapism afforded by such things allows me to turn my brain off, escape day-to-day anxieties, and lose myself in something I love.
