Otaku nerd. I cosplay, make kanzashi, watch anime, and read manga. I'm also kinda blunt, slighty pervy sense of humor (I'm harmless i swear), a little bit cocky. But hey I'm kinda cute and funny enough to make up for it.

Hi you can call me Argyle. I'm a 24 y/o gamer in southern California. I'm into all sorts of different genres ranging from jrpgs and metroidvania games down to some fps's and survival horror games. I also have a huge interest in music as a while so if you're into some of the same music or open minded to new music that's a definite plus.

I am openly geek but clean up nicely. I love the usual suspects...Star Trek, Star Wars, Game of Thrones, John Carter of Mars, Iron Man and Marvel. I am a huge music fan, especially PROG rock, classic rock, Jazz and swing, metal, classical and film scores. I am also a karaoke whore and want to learn swing dancing. Lastly...I have a background in filmmaking and write screenplays when I am not busy with my day job. And yes...I am also a dog lover with 2 rescue basset hounds.

Picture if, one day in the Shire, a portal opened up to a library in our world and deposited copies of "Peace Is Every Step" and "On Intersectionality" in front of one very confused hobbit. That's pretty much me. Most of my hobbies involve making things. Writing, drawing comic strips, the occasional dalliance in filmmaking and songwriting. I like to look at art with an eye toward the moral implications and the philosophical as much as possible. Former contributor to the video games press who still likes games but despises the culture around them a lot of the time. I try not to let it overwhelm my life, but I am pretty left-leaning in the "We should be able to do better than having a Democratic party that capitulates to corporate interests and pays petty lip service to marginalized groups while doing nothing to contribute to real change" sort of fashion. Big lame Buddhist who things that we're all connected and should help each other. Crazy talk, I know. My dry sense of humor and resting jerk face often give people the mistaken impression that I don't like them, but I'm a big softy at heart.

I hate writing these, I think we all do. First let me advise you all that I have children, this has been an issue in the past. I enjoy a wide range of things from Cos-play when I can, Renaissance fair, Scuba Diving and riding my bike, always nicer to ride with someone than alone. Gym comes and goes in my life, I have periods where I go into what I call Greek God mode where the gym is my life then I have other times where I go maybe once or twice a week. What am I looking for? Perfection lol, everyone is crazy but if you can find someone who’s crazy matches yours it can be a perfect match. Anything else just ask.

Greetings! I geek to many things but in particular movies. I collect movies. I have quite the collection. I love kung fu martial arts movies. I deep dive on youtube videos. Can’t wait for Avengers and the summer blockbuster season!

I hate writing these things, even on a site like this. But in a nutshell, I'm a gamer geek with various interests. Love multiple genres. Struggling writer, WoW player, non-discriminatory console gamer, and a bit of a wanderer. I have a lot of interests that I wish I had more time to devote to.

I'm dedicated to my work, and I'm also a dad. My daughter is 6 and does not live at home, but I see her very often. Don't let that be a deal breaker - this isn't something that will hinder, it will enrich. Not asking anyone to be "new mom" or anything like that!

I'm new to online dating, I'm the kinda guy that if I like someone I just go right up and ask them out. So online dating has never appealed to me, but I'm trying it out to find someone I have more in common with. I like movies, anime, anime movies (Mostly Miyazaki films). I play video games, I go by Smokepit or xXSmokepitXx on all platforms. I have quite the retro collection, I fix and resell any I find at garage sales ect. I also play tabletop board games and card games (Mostly MTG). I read hard Sci-Fi and Fantasy novels but mostly comic books and manga. I don't cosplay a lot, I'd like to do more, I could be Scott Summers. I was a Boy Scout lol. Seriously though I was and can do all the outdoor stuff as well.

I really have no idea what to put here. I am just me.
As it stands, I am a full time student and mother with very little spare time to socialize (not that I really would if I had the time either...)
I'm fairly easy to talk to, so give it a try

First off, my #1 game is EVE Online. I've been playing it since it launched back in '03. It's important to me and has been good to me. I have the career I do because of EVE, and I'll continue to play it for as long as it's around.

That being said, I'm a gamer, sci-fi buff, and all around nerd. I'm also quite the intellectual, as I work as a data scientist, and I spend time I'm not gaming or watching movies digging into math equations! I've got a Master's degree in Public Policy, but don't work in politics (go figure)

I am an outgoing, optimistic, and caring girl. I like having a good time, for example, a simple lunch date at the park and a nice walk around at night. I really enjoy cosplaying. I cosplay as Blue diamond right now, but when I get the materials to make Lapis's outfit I will be her as well. I don't mind looks as much as personality. If you have a great personality we will get along really well ")

I'm 26 and have been a nerd/geek from the age of 4 when I first sat down and watched Star Wars. From then on I was pulled into this glorious universe of so many fandoms and people just like me. I am passionate about Star Wars and it has been a constant source of happiness and comfort in my life. I love comics, video games, music, tabletop gaming, prop building, cosplay and more. I love Star Trek as well and am a member of Starfleet International, where I serve as regional correspondent and security officer aboard the USS Tydirium. My day job is Customer Support, which I enjoy, however my true job passion is writing and I am currently writing a book with a view to have it finished by the end of the year. I am very laid back and would rather chill at home than go out partying. I love my friends and family and spend as much time with them as I can. I want to do what I can to help others and try to leave a legacy behind.

Welp, here's where the mental block kicks in. Im a nerdy guy, but not the type of nerdy where im set apart from the non nerds. I'm constantly seeking to learn, grow, and better myself. I'm terrible at talking about myself so lets just talk XP

Just gonna give a couple basic things. I'm a cosplayer who's way into Transformers and currently run the TFCon cosplay contest and I travel to both the US and the Canadian ones. I tend to be a little quite and observant to things around me, but when I'm in the convention environment I get much more energetic. I'm a little clumsy and tend to go off on tangents from time to time, then switch it up and go through moments of silence. I think music is the way to the soul so I listen to a lot of variation and what I am playing tends to reflect my mood. I can't hold a tune in a bucket but when I'm happy I tend to sing out loud. If you can handle that, you've already scored a point!
