First off, my #1 game is EVE Online. I've been playing it since it launched back in '03. It's important to me and has been good to me. I have the career I do because of EVE, and I'll continue to play it for as long as it's around.

That being said, I'm a gamer, sci-fi buff, and all around nerd. I'm also quite the intellectual, as I work as a data scientist, and I spend time I'm not gaming or watching movies digging into math equations! I've got a Master's degree in Public Policy, but don't work in politics (go figure)

I am an outgoing, optimistic, and caring girl. I like having a good time, for example, a simple lunch date at the park and a nice walk around at night. I really enjoy cosplaying. I cosplay as Blue diamond right now, but when I get the materials to make Lapis's outfit I will be her as well. I don't mind looks as much as personality. If you have a great personality we will get along really well ")

I'm 26 and have been a nerd/geek from the age of 4 when I first sat down and watched Star Wars. From then on I was pulled into this glorious universe of so many fandoms and people just like me. I am passionate about Star Wars and it has been a constant source of happiness and comfort in my life. I love comics, video games, music, tabletop gaming, prop building, cosplay and more. I love Star Trek as well and am a member of Starfleet International, where I serve as regional correspondent and security officer aboard the USS Tydirium. My day job is Customer Support, which I enjoy, however my true job passion is writing and I am currently writing a book with a view to have it finished by the end of the year. I am very laid back and would rather chill at home than go out partying. I love my friends and family and spend as much time with them as I can. I want to do what I can to help others and try to leave a legacy behind.

Welp, here's where the mental block kicks in. Im a nerdy guy, but not the type of nerdy where im set apart from the non nerds. I'm constantly seeking to learn, grow, and better myself. I'm terrible at talking about myself so lets just talk XP

Just gonna give a couple basic things. I'm a cosplayer who's way into Transformers and currently run the TFCon cosplay contest and I travel to both the US and the Canadian ones. I tend to be a little quite and observant to things around me, but when I'm in the convention environment I get much more energetic. I'm a little clumsy and tend to go off on tangents from time to time, then switch it up and go through moments of silence. I think music is the way to the soul so I listen to a lot of variation and what I am playing tends to reflect my mood. I can't hold a tune in a bucket but when I'm happy I tend to sing out loud. If you can handle that, you've already scored a point!

Soooo growing up I definitely thought I was born in the wrong family. I was the only one who read anything and everything that I could get my hands on and developed an obsession with anime, particularly Inuyasha and Yu Yu Hakasho. Both my parents are bookworms and considered nerdy by their families but couldn't understand why all of a sudden I'd pretend to be a demon/dog/human hybrid or write about my adventures as a Spirit Detective. I had almost no friends growing up, I thought kids my age were boring and/or weird. Turns out, by common social standards, I was the weirdo. I eventually met other random souls who shared my enthusiasm for all things awesome but then life happened and those things were put on the back burner as I became a mom and wife. I won't bore you with details during my period of hiatus from all things nerdy but it really sucked. I'm now slowly going back and embracing my nerdy side, whether I'm suppose to or not according to my family and others.

I work at a Customer Help Desk at Honda Manufacturing of Alabama and spend most of my time playing games, watching anime, or playing/DMing table-top games (mostly D&D 3.5 & 5e, but I'd like to try other systems). I enjoy going to the movies and hanging out with friends as well, though I've only been to two conventions. One in Huntsville and Kami-Con.

Been a video gamer as long as I can remember which got me into computers and technological stuff of that nature. Never really enjoyed hanging around the popular crowd, I preferred going solo and have a select friend group. Can't give too much away would ruin the 'fun' of getting to know people.

Well let's see. I am a huge geek (self named). Been collecting comics sense I was a kid and I still have 98% of them. Magic the gathering is my current obsession, I love playing the commander format as well as draft. I enjoy almost all music (no country, sorry) and I love to watch movies and television.

On a non geek notes I do have a 6 year old son, with a truly geeky yet under the radar name. I am divorced but still on good terms with my ex, Woot for no drama! I do work 3rd shift currently, I say this because I may respond at odd hours.

It's hard to explain it all in one paragraph and one needs to leave some mystery about one self. I am more a casual then a full geek. I prefer tabletop rpgs to online yet enjoy both. I can enjoy watching a session of Game of Thrones as I can enjoy watching Bosch. I like the outdoors and like to curl up with a good book on a rain dat

I am a fantasy writer working towards writing full time in the field of self publishing. Also in a creative writing masters program. I love all things Fantasy. Sci Fi is way up there on my list of likes, especially Star Trek and Star Wars. Huge Stephen King fan, and I enjoy a good horror movie every now and then.

I've never written one of these before, but here goes...

I guess it'd be easier to talk more about what I'm into instead of just me personally. I'm just an aspiring student that's only really starting to get my bearings on what I want to do in the adult world.

I love writing and RPing as a hobby, and I can't help but gush over certain stories and soundtracks in games and shows I get into. I started practicing the piano a couple months ago, and I'm really passionate over voice over work and hope to work my way into the field by trying to grow out of my shell and pursue theater and any online opportunities I can find with the right equipment.

Translation differences and language are also fun to talk about. I'm currently studying Japanese and it's a long road ahead. I wish talking about things like differences between dubs and subs wasn't the equivalent of trying to defuse a time bomb before it explodes; it's interesting looking into the differences in dialogue both versions have, talking about the performances both casts had, and debating which version was better, for fun! All that can be done without sparking a fight over differing opinions, but I've learned from experience that it's a rare thing to see on the Internet, and it really bums me out sometimes.

I've never that great at in-person conversations, but trying to be more social's been a goal I've had for a while! I get a little anxious when I'm in public talking to people, and if it ever comes to that, I can only really say I'm sorry in advance.

But I'd love to talk and hope to overcome that! I was never the social type growing up, and it's been a weakness I know I've had for the longest time that I'm willing to try and change. Things will only stay the same unless you take that first step forward and keep moving from there.

The more comfortable I am with someone, the less filtered I become.
