Geek life at the edge of nowhere

As you all might well imagine, I find it tedious to be in such a large area with so few people with whom to discuss major ideas and concerns who might actually get any of it. I realize there are some out there who do and I appreciate the fact that they have stepped out to say hello on the few occasions I find them, but finding those kinds of people seems so few and far between sometimes. I draw, invent, and even write in my spare time to keep the boredom at bay. What do you all do to keep sane where you live?

Watch anime, Sci-fi, History Channel and lots of online gaming. I feel your pain, sometimes seems like all that is around me is mud boggers and wanna be street thugs. Our little comic shop doesn't even have too many customers. Like maybe 2 or 3 people if it's "busy".
