Oh, just WAIT until you discover the joys of modern plumbing, Zona! Hot showers and flush toilets ftw!
November 14th, 2012 at 2:02 am
I have several things running through my mind. First is that when Mentl gets her home his perfect serenade is “Reunited” by ‘Peaches and Herb’. Umm of course that’s a duet but…Mentl is a ‘Magic Man’.
Second- Dear God, Lord JesusFaddahJoean’MuaddahMary(talkin to You JED) PuhLeeze have Mentl take Zona for an arm-in-arm walk on Venice Beach, past that weight lifting bitch. Icing would be if Zona would one-arm her max two arm press, Just dreaming here…
Third - Zona trying to drive a bug…

Nice rim!
November 14th, 2012 at 3:09 am
Oh, dude, trying to make love in a teeny-tiny car?? Yeeaaah, they’re gonna need Tula for some post-funtime healing of sprained muscles and gearshift-knob bruises (and that includes if they tried using the back seat! Zona has long, long legs, ya know)!
November 14th, 2012 at 3:22 am
That must be a magic VW beetle for Zona to be able to sit fully upright in it. I can barely do that in those and she’s taller than I am!
November 14th, 2012 at 4:07 am
A Beetle! I am all nostalgic now.
November 14th, 2012 at 4:39 am
Ah, a cute little car. I can understand Zona not wanting to try and sleep in it.
Wonder how she reacts to Mentl’s apartment?
November 14th, 2012 at 5:08 am
Damn, for a moment there, I thought / hoped the car was an Audi A2, because of the front, size and the rear spoiler, but it’s missing the characteristic hump. I do love my Audi A2, in case you couldn’t tell
November 14th, 2012 at 5:26 am
Couldn’t it have at least been an old Beetle? Dang, boy, a little style wouldn’t hurt!
November 14th, 2012 at 8:23 am
Had a Beetle (New Model). I’m 6′2″ and I had all kinds of head room. One I had was a Diesel and I did love that car. Zona, of course, would have a lot less headroom than I did.
November 14th, 2012 at 9:30 am
Chad/SFC,
It really depends on the body proportions, I’m only 5′11 but have the upper torso of a man of 6′6″ (very stumpy legs, pants length 27″), So i often brush my head on the ceiling of cars, and always have to duck a little getting in or out. My son is 6′3 and has to adjust the car mirror down if he drives a car after me. Zona is a normally proportioned, if scaled-up and inhumanly-stacked lady, so at 6′ 6″ she should be OK reclining the seat a trifle. A much better question is where are her legs going?
November 14th, 2012 at 10:45 am
Good question, can we get a shot of Mentl helping her out of the car so we can see where her legs are at?
When I have trouble getting my legs in I usaully cross them a bit for extra room cuz a square or rectangle is always longer if you measure it from corner to corner (accross) and it does look like there is plenty of room for her to lean back.

yeaaaaaah that was suppose to be a rectangle showing my example but for some reason it got rid of all me spaces.
November 14th, 2012 at 10:52 am
my spaces
damn

I thoroughly enjoyed making love in a 1970s era beetle. The lady in question was 5′11″, 155 lbs. and limber as a snake. It CAN be done.
November 14th, 2012 at 1:38 pm
That was a very effective ad campaign for the VW- every time I see one I still think ‘Hi!’ LOL
November 14th, 2012 at 2:28 pm
My husband is 6′6″ and we had an original style bug early in our marriage. He fit just fine, legs and all. Now, Hondas…, that’s another story.
On another tack, I hope there aren’t any week-old pizza boxes in the apartment and that the dishes are all done…
November 14th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Am I the only one here who was thinking that he inherited his mom’s car? This is not Mentl’s style. I’d say he’s a classic American car guy: not muscle cars, nothing too showy, maybe an early 60’s Ford Fury convertible, or a Dodge Dart, if he prefers Mopars.
Supporting arguments: bar-giggin’ musicians can’t afford cars that are less than twenty years old, and, I mean, does anyone know ANY red-blooded man who would willingly buy a New Beetle? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a cute touch: but all I gotta say is, it comes with a flower in a little vase on the dashboard!
November 14th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
A couple of minor bits of trivia:
Why a red New Beetle? Because I bought one in February and I like it. Practical and stylish enough for me. Good on gas (not as good as some, better than others) and comfortable. Just right for my lifestyle. Now Mentl relies on Zero to haul the gear. For his own gigs, the beetle barely holds two guitars and a small speaker. He has a roof rack on order.
Archone - Zona’s been around, and has seen plumbing - but nothing to the scale or intricacy we are used to. She’ll enjoy. And so, dare I say, will you. There’s a couple of images I’ve been holding back on posting just because they contained obvious spoilers …
Ga’Tor - There is a song. You shall see it soon enough. As for Venice, well … all I can say is that there is a scene on the beach. As to the rest, patience.
Skuld - Yes. This is the model you can get from DAZ3d. Very nice detail.
Jean - you shall see. Right now, Mentl isn’t planning on doing it in the car. Zona is up for anything - as she pretty much always is.
Chad - Actually, the model is to the same Poser scale as the humans, and she fits. Her head brushes the roof, but yes, she fits, even her legs with the seat shoved back a bit. The New Beetle has lots of interior space relative to its profile. Not exactly a Tardis, but …
The Old Hack - As well you might be. I’ve had three Beetles. a 1971, a 1973 and my current wheels, a cherry red `04.
Lora - You will see in a few pages her reaction to Mentl’s digs. However, remember this is a warrior princess who has slept in palaces, caves, army tents, dungeons, prisons, deserts, travel-wagons and the frigid wastelands of The Moon. So … just sayin’.
Lleyn - Sorry. New Beetle.
Sage - Because, as I said at first, that’s what I drive. And, you know - author!
sFCRetired - Yeah - that’s why her high poofy hair is a thing of the past.
ICWT - I imagine her legs will be on Mentl’s shoulders in about a half hour … B-doom - chick!! (I’m here all week, folks! Try the veal …)
Doccer - Maybe. Maybe not. If I have to do a cutaway to show you how it works, I will. But only Zona’s fans would actually create a diagram to show optimum configuration for a character’s legs to fit into a VW. =D
Docsmith626 - I’ve had spirited romantic assignations in a Nissan Sentra, VW squareback type 3, 1973 Dodge Cornet, 1980 Ford Mustang - among others. None in the bugs.
DaBear - Since moving to Tivo, my commercial consumption is virtually nil - so I wish I knew what you were talking about.
SamuraiDemonPuppy - Zona’s been imprisoned by pirates, Urtts, blue-skinned Lunar sorcerers and wimpy sorcerer wannabes. She can deal with a pizza box.
Jacko - I think that’s a valid scenario. As to the bud vase? I use it to hold my cigar. I had to. Just had to.
November 15th, 2012 at 12:45 am
Actually, I was more concerned about Mentl. It’s awfully embarrassing bringing your special sweetie home and opening your door to a domestic disaster.
November 15th, 2012 at 4:44 am
As a tall person (though not that tall), I know how she feels.
November 15th, 2012 at 7:23 pm
Yeah, it’s an annoyance trying to fit into a lot of cars these days. I know several people who use SUVs just because of the headroom.
November 16th, 2012 at 12:50 pm
Check out this website for VW’s reaction to the demographics of their beetle buyers. It’s partly their own fault, of course, because of doing things like flower vases on the dash.
