Tomorrow.
Page 581 involves an entirely new set with tons of detail I made myself put into it. Actually fabricated a few props and pieces myself from primitives. Hopefully, you’ll be able to see it on the screen, but as is often the case I create a whole, nearly complete, environment and then the focus has to be on the people. Faces and interactions fill up the picture, completely blocking all the crap I sweat bullets over. but in the end, I am glad I did it because it gives me choices and a freedom to shoot from multiple angles without having to worry about it looking too fake or boring. Still, this is my way of saying - not today and not tonight, neither. But tomorrow you will see the girls in action in an interaction with Hollywood denizens in what is a logical but, perhaps, unexpected place for them to visit.
Warmest regards,
JED

Well for something that epic we can wait. But we may sulk a bit while waiting, but awesome is always better then something thrown together just to meet a self imposed deadline.

Tula and Zona + Mentl in LA, we can wait but remember the longer we wait the stockpile of torches gets bigger.
*Waiting patiently to see what happens next*

–I have paperwork for the various qualifying levels of torch-wielding right here! Everyone starts out at glowstick/chemical torch level, then some people can progress to electric torch (flashlight) level, and finally we have the pinnacle of responsibility and irate-waving-ness, the flaming torch variety!
…Pitchfork licences sold seperately.

I don’t need those, Jean. I have bonfire certification, the Pioneering merit badge and a Woodsman’s Chit. Come see me when you need someone tied to a stake with lots of fresh cut firewood stacked nicely around them.

And I don’t want to scare you or anything JED, but I am pretty sure Old Hack has a lot of hot tar and feathers. I just thought you should know, maybe you will find that information motivational is all…

@John Savard - We were only teasing about the physical violence (at least I was).

I love this clothes store. It wasn’t exactly what I expected but it is so much more alive than some department store in a mall. Just saying, Jed, this level of hard work pays and I do not mind waiting for the payoff.

Every strip posted has been well worth the wait. I love the work you do and the story you are telling. The scenery may be over-looked by others, but I look at the details after I read each page. It isn’t wasted on me I guarnatee. Since my first encounter with The Challenges of Zona, I have always been impressed with it. Thank you for the effort that goes into this masterful story, I genuinely appreciate it!
