   He’s NUTS! And seems he did NOT stake out the other three guys first, he just took out the cocky “leader” first and then the other guys with the leader’s own crossbow.

   One of those really creepy characters who does odd things to throw his opponents off in a fight…while they’re busy trying to figure out what the hell they’re fighting, he’s busy making them assume room temparature…

    I think he’s on to something. Sometimes when I’m sparring someone new I’ll jump straight up and throw a backfist at the top of their head (my whack-a-mole technique just to see how they react to the unexpected…but I’ve never thought of serenading my opponents. I might have to try that out some day.

    This to be said, there is still one guard left and he has Mora as a shield… So? Is she going to kick him or is he going to be a nice (?) fellow and let her go gently? dun dun DUN!!

    i am not really certain, but i believe i heard the song before…
    and just because he is good at slitting throats, and fighting, and he likes to sing and dance while he doing those things, does not make him crazy.

    i am very tempted to write these people up as actual DnD characters. or maybe use a point buy system, if i can find one that will do them justice. if DnD, what edition (all but “basic” and “second” available to me. further more, how would i get it to you guys?

    I do have to wonder what the third guard is doing while all this fighting is going on. It looks like the fight would have taken at least 3-5 seconds seems like enough time to react and do something besides holding onto the woman that he’s got to see as less than a threat.

    Someguy, he’s singing, it’s taking longer than 3-5 seconds. I’m with Sleepinin, he’s no doubt stunned. Either that, or picking up the kids as shields. In which case he deserves to die. I’m thinking the little ditty about the “”…fair young maiden, she lived down in Kent; arose one summer’s morning, and she a-nutting went!” *KICK!*

    Creepy last panel and creepy guy, yes-but he gets more interesting every other page. You don’t find a cutthroat with an actual personality at every story!

    I loled hard at the words between the panels XD

    I’d try to do them in Hero System, the flexibility is worth it. Probably could do them justice with 200-300 points total. Yatta would be at the low end of that range with lots of low cost skill levels in sword. Tula would get Multipower based spells or _maybe_ Elemental Control (which isn’t the same thing as elemental powers). Mentl would have a huge Power Pool, with a few limitations, but have a crappy Ego based control roll (no training remember). Zona gets large Power and Mental defenses (or maybe a high Ego to get a high ECV) and lots of combat levels. A little bonus/mystical Str, but it wouldn’t have to be that high, maybe 25 or 28.

    There is a REASON a high level fighter/courtesan trusts this person to administer instances of honor. He might be unusual, but you can’t question his skill. Most of the higher skilled individuals are skewed in some form… He simply refuses to conform.. That’s actually a benefit in some instances…

    From the look on the face of the guard holding Mora, e.g. eyes rolling up, Morcai either slipped him one in the kidneys on the way in or Mora just let him have an elbow to the solar plexus at about twice the upper body strength he was braced for. She had no dagger that I saw earlier and is poorly placed for a kick. Either way, against this level opponent . . .

    Kamatu the hero system it is. I have been using that system for over 20 years and it would be fun to set it up. Mental power pool might have an activation roll or maybe he has two pools one no con. control and one with activation. Vito will take some thought though

    I can’t help but think AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds” would be a better song for this guy to be singing.
