I really doubt he'd be happy about owing Tethik *anything*, even if Tethik said he would want nothing for it. Like, if Tethik told him that he did not feel badly treated, when in fact Tor has tried being rude towards him. (and considering Tethiks position, being hunted for murder, you can make a good case for that) I don't think Tor would feel happy about that at all ! On another note - Perhaps they have been romantically involved in the past ? That could certainly throw a wrench in the works. And .. and ... uhh ..
