“How I Met Your Father” - finished, freaking finally.
For the delay on this, my thank you to the generous folk who contributed way back when I first got my passive-aggressive cat P-Chan, my apologies. But I have just uploaded the last four pages of the little story, and you may read it now. You may want to start at the beginning again, since it’s taken so frigging long just to finish twelve lousy pages you’ve probably forgotten the story! But if you have eidetic memory and want to start just at page eight where we left off, go here.
Soon, I’ll be putting it in the Freebies section permanently. For now, enjoy, and once again, thank you all!

ahaahaha I love Ipola. Young and…. less young… She’s just so … DAMN!

Heh. That was funny! A nice mix and match… brainy beauty and bone-headed muscle.

My memory isn’t the furthest from eidetic, so thanks!

Yay! I have been clicking “next” on page seven for ages. And lo, it paid off… BEFORE I read the post saying they were there.
I am happy.
And beautifully done characterization, sir.

Wow, just wow. Interesting that although he’s built like a brick shithouse, Zonn, IMHGO, isn’t that pretty above the neck. he reminds me of Dr. Zaius from Planet of the Apes

Funny.

Wow- the last page is breathtaking. John? Did you nick a photo and add the characters into it, or did you actually DRAW EVERY FREAKING LEAF AND BIT OF DETRITUS??? I’m in awe of the detail throughout this whole story.

Gorgeous.
…Could’ve rooted for a smuttage montage, but this works for me.

We have a winner! Brains, Beauty, & Brawn, what an unbeatable team they’ll make.

Wow, just wow. My favorite line?
“If I like you…” Made me ROTFLMAO
Thank you JED.

Liked that very much. Nice work.
Thanks for the gift JED!

Zona is their child for sure, she’s a mash-up of both her parents. More clueful than her father with regards relationships, but not as wise as her mother. Bold and daring in a physical contest, but not nearly as rash or unprepared as her father.
I hope you’re not offended if I deem this tale cute, but it certainly was.
Good job JED

Yeah! Nice to see the completion of this little story.

Awesome! I’ve been looking forward to this since the last page…page 7? Nice work. Last page is great. For some reason though, her body looks like it would be crushed by his…

AdamZero - Well put.
firegoat - Well, he’s not so much bone-headed as straightforward, and in-the-moment. He’s very physical, and definitely doesn’t live in a world of words, ideas and abstracts in the way that Ipola does. They’re both quite young.
CyberSkull - Yer very welcome.
Wolf - As we say at home, “If you’re happy, I’m tickled to death.”
Apunkalipse - At my age, this is as close to rocking as I get without hurting something.
tricksterson - I know precisely what you’re talking about, and which shots give that effect. I think a lot of that comes from his pale coloring and the lighting in the shot. I’m not that proud of the lights in much of this little tale. He is not a pretty boy, that’s for sure, but he’s not hard on the eyes, either.
Kamatu - Thanks, that was the intent, at least at the funny bits.
Jean - Thankses! Not sure about “smuttage,” but we’ll see.
MaxBigfoot - As history shows that they were.
Lebbrin - Yeah, it was obvious that there was some chemistry there.
Fred - Not at all - thanks to all of you!
zaraya - Not offended in the least. The tale is, indeed, kind of sweet, even with Zonn gleefully holding up the gory severed head.
Lora - I’m happy to at last have finished it!
TTK - Ipola’s well-padded. Plus, there are plenty of lopsided couples in history and fiction. If you remember seven-foot-plus Richard Keil, (”Jaws” from the Bond Films) whose wife was only five feet tall. They worked it out.

Is it my imagination or is Zonn similar facially to Vito - I think it’s mostly around the eyes and mouth/chin area. Maybe it’s just the beards?
June 29th, 2010 at 11:41 am
I found it odd, to find Zonn without a sword (or knife even), after they talked on pages 5+6 about his “sword and arm” being for sale.

Actually didn´t have to start from the beginning at all. And my memory isn´t that eidetic.
Kudos to your storytelling and computer-animation abilities.
