Farewell to THE man when it comes to fantasy art. Vallejo, Bell, Royo and so on… As great as they all are none of them can equal Frank Frazetta I think. Even Larry Elmore have to get in line behind the master (and this is from someone whose idea of what fantasy art should look like was pretty much formed by Elmore’s AD&D paintings).

I watched the movie\documentery on Frank, Frazetta: Painting with Fire. He was an amazing atrist. He drew what he liked and that was good for us all.

Frazetta and his great archetypes. Slave girls, Princesses&Damsels in distress, Temptresses and not a single career gal in sight!
Perfect.
That man knew how to draw ass. Frankly speaking.

At least now he doesn´t have to fight with this thieving son about his art anymore.

Frazetta was one of the first, if not the first, fantasy illustrator to depict women as both powerful and sexy. I don’t think that we have yet realized his full influence on our society.
