   I really like Zona’s facial expression in this panel. She looks happy, winded, a little hopeful and very excited. There are quite a few inferences to be made here. We will find out Saturday! Same bat-channel, same bat-time.

   These mid-week teaser panels are really appreciated too JED. It really takes the edge off and keeps me from smacking the inside of my elbow.

   Watching this i cant get whitney houston’s “i will always love you” out of my head. Although i dont think Mentl will be able to carry Zona. More like the other way around. Anyway a great page once again. I dont think there is any doubt in their mind that they love each other.

    Nice job as always, JED. The look on Zona’s face speaks louder than words. Hell, I have a hard time imagining what you’re going to have them say to each other that won’t seem superfluous. Beautiful!

    This is the first depiction of Zona in this getup that I’ve really liked, nay, loved. She looks incredibly beautiful and vulnerable at the same time—her heart’s definitely in her eyes. Hat’s off to you, JED.

    If I didn’t know better I’d say it looks like prom night and Zona just got pinned by Mentl. Some where in the back ground I hear ” And they call it Puppy love”

    I am also rather pleased with the mid-week update of a sketch for the upcoming page. It really is quite nifty, a week is a long time. Also quite nice to have an image without words to just look at, and then see where it fits in when the page is complete.

    i second all these comments and must say that this looks like the queen brought it on due to the background, maybe the dance has magik nullification qualities that her majesty wanted zona put through before asking if she truly loved mentl? just a guess, theres only a handful of words that would suit that view… “yes” is one.
