   Didn’t JED say a bit back that Tula’s top was actually relatively hard, formed leather? Finally looks like tooled and painted/dyed leather here.

   First the good news: I love love love that sexy little moue (pursed lip pout, yes, there’s an actual term for it) which Zona is doing. I also love Tula’s grin. Can’t wait to see the rest of it. I also suspect this is going to end up a small panel in the full page, so I’m very happy to see it up close and spectacular. Thank you, JED!

   Now for the not so good news. *grump* I haz a picture of me in corset. It needs to be edited. Either I butcher it in Paint *shudder* or I wait until my computer is back from the shop, because my laptop doesn’t have my normal editing program. Okay, it’s not as spifftastic an editor as Poser, but it’s better than Paint. Anyone want the Paint edited version, or can you wait a day or two more?

   Reddwarf, you need to hang out in the SCA. There are guys who wear fully tooled, painted, cuir bouilli (hardboiled either in oil or in wax) leather armor to fight in, so it is quite possible to tool and paint and harden leather.

    Plenty of things are catching fire, but Zona’s hair won’t be one of them
    I love the POV of the frame- the composition makes it look like the viewer saw the sisters and fell down in disbelief!

    News flash: Local Barbarian tribe develops “SUPER STARCH”, one spectator was quoted as saying “I canna understand how di fabric canna take much more oh that.”

    On a side note, Nano Tube string developed in Ebonia. Princess Tula described the super strong strings as “Great for holding my tops together in a strong dance”.

    Lol, I like your ‘newswire’, Speedhump.

    I agree with Jean; the top looks like it’s knittet or wowen in this panel. Leather is not what comes to mind when I look at it. (In particular because I can see Tula’s skin through it).

    Oh, and her left breast(the far away breast). Is that a nipple sticking up through the fabric? Because if it is it’s too high on the curve of her breast to be realistic. Just thought it would be good to point out the anatomy problem. After all, nothing is better than good con crit.

    The MacNut - There’s a certain amount of artistic license in the picture. I made it so it looks as though both of the gals are looking at the observer, though in truth Zona would be looking at Mentl, and Tula would be looking at someone else.

    Doc Alaska - In a word, yes.

    zangoules - Yes. Boobs. Now and forever.

    reddwarf- Nope, it’s supposed to be silk brocade. In reality it’s an OBJ formatted mesh with a 2D texture mapped to it along with a bump-map to simulate light and shadow created by an uneven surface texture.

    Jean - Thank you for teaching me a new word! As for image editors, a quite good open source program that has nearly as many features as Photoshop is GIMP. The benefit is that it’s freeeeeeee…

    Lora - Thanks very much! The top is not knitted, but supposed to be silk brocade. There is a little bit of poke-through that I will have to fix. As to the nipples - I actually like it. The V3 mesh is made like that to simulate the anatomy of magazine centerfold models, and even the real ones are not realistic. And there’s nothing I can do about it as far as the top is concerned. The model has no adjustment to lower the nipple, and without some magnet work or modeling that I don’t have a lot of talent for I can’t change it.

    Sleepinin - I should like to add that Erogenian boys are up to anything the girls can put out …

    …and , in an alarming side story, this reporter investigates reports of newly discovered jean corset pictures- pictures which, in the recent update comment-storm. have gone tragocally unnoticed.

    For more on this (moremoremore,) we go back to jean… tell us, were these shots taken in the field, or are they staged? Can you tell us about lighting and exposure issues? And most importantly; will any of us require drool cups? Or, will moderately-sized Sham-Wow(c)’s be sudfficient?

    Actually, it was taken in my bedroom (hence needing to crop out unnecessary details–no, not those details, I’m talking the laundry basket sort). That, and I’d rather crop it down to the pertinent section of torso-ness. As for drool cups…possibly…possibly… I have no idea how much or how little I might impress anyone, that’s all.

    Well, I thought that someone was going to offer to be a live model for our artist.that way all problems are solved,and no one can nitpick on tiny deails that are beyond his control. This is not a manga orcomic that nipple can be fixedbya simple rub of the eraser

    Okay, here they are. Sorry for the lack of a smile, and slightly fuzzy edges (for those who are really nitpicky, otherwise they’re not too apparent, thankfully); I was having trouble with the bleeping flash, had to hand-steady the camera…and kinda sorta forgot to smile. Ah, well. Nothing a good flogging won’t cure. (Any volunteers?) XD

    (These images are about as work-safe as Zona herself. Possibly more so, as I’m not whipping a sword through my enemies…yet.)

    I should also apologize for the gap at the top; I hadn’t tightened it to full compression (being a bit impatient) and didn’t realize that the top hook’and-eye of the busque had popped loose until I was cropping the picture.

    Thanks, JED! I missed the appropriate turn-in day for this EXCO cycle so now it will be winter before I get to do it, but I still want to go ahead. I am well aware that there are varying degrees of civility exhibited in these kinds of forums, but I’m finding it enjoyable that so many engage in agreeable discussion for the sake of the story and the art, which you have in abundance.
