Originally I wanted this on the previous page, but the big cheer seemed to ask for a big ol’ panel of its own, and I couldn’t fit these last two panels into it. And since this was just the last beat in the scene, I didn’t want to use a whole regular update on it, so here you are: A bonus page.

Good spot for training break, using text to let you put several pages in the can. I know that you want to do every scene in loving detail, but can we save it for the movie? I’m fairly sure that we can get the conversation between Tethik and the Old Bull by text with one panel for the high point of the update.

@Kosetsu - You have to admire the magical properties of clothing in this comic and just about every other one that has ladies with “huge tracts of land.” As a busty gal myself, I wish I could live in Erogenia.

I will be slowing down soon to once a week updates on the main feature, but I’ll still be doing incentives and finishing “How I Met Your Father,” plus the odd update to the galleries, of course. The reason for the slowdown is I will FINALLY be finishing the reformatting and post work on the first 48 pages of the first COZ print version, and then gonna get it all printed out. This needs to be finished by Spring so I can go to San Diego ComicCon with the rest of the SoulGeek crewe. As to doing text-only with a single panel, that’s just not the way I roll. I *really* like Erfworld for its imagination and story and fantastic art, and yet his alternating text and comic updates are not something I feel work well for me. For my part, I would be far happier just waiting a little bit longer for the real comic.

Very moving smooch scene. Howsomever, I STILL can’t find anything of Sheahla(?) in Hot Stuff.
Not that it means anything since you have this scripted out, but I vote for a continuation of the party and finding out about life-changing episodes in Yatta-ta’s life.
I ALSO vote for ‘How I met your father’. Let’s see, how many sub-arcs do we have now? Count Dell, the crook he hired to transport the Erogenians to safety, Maldik and his hopeful comeuppance and castration/imprisonment/punishment at Yenora’s hands, Zonn and his ‘Tenth Tribe’, and of course the whole Urrt invasion thing. I’m sure I missed some…..
At the rate of two weeks of updates to get through one day of storyline we will all expire before the story finishes (especially me, I’m 63. Anybody older here?). Not that I want any diminishing in quality for faster updates — Gawds, don’t want much do I?
JED, COULD you go full-time without diminishing quality, and how much in donation/subsidy would it take for you to earn a good living doing nothing but ‘ZONA’?

That’s a direct link to boobies, which I’ll probably get in trouble for, but Dino’s about to have a baby and he’s distracted.
As to how much it would take to do nothing but Zona - ahhhh, I fear I have not enough of a following to afford it, for all your extraordinary generosity. It would take about fifty grand a year to keep my obligations at bay and allow me to quit my job. Nonetheless, there would only be an increase in quality if I should be able to devote all my energy to Zona. And actually, you have not forgotten any plot trees that have been already introduced, I think. Of course, there is the other lost tribes of the Erogenians, the forgotten origins of the Urtts, the fuller story of the War Of The Unification and Zonn and Ipola, Zona’s first spirit quest when she was sixteen and how it ties into events we’re seeing now, The Wind Wizard of the deserts of Sandak, Dole The Enchanter and how he figures into the politics of Erogenia, … and a few others I just have lurking in the back of my imagination. ( BTW - I promise I did not just pull any of the above from my posterior region. Those are all actual stories I have jotted or outlined for COZ. Which is why I have little sympathy for writers of fantasy who “run out of ideas” other than the fact that the corporate entertainment engine is exceedingly demanding and , at the same time stupid. )
But you are, without question, all wonderful. And I thank you very much. Hopefully tonight or tomorrow there will be another update. When you see it, you might appreciate why it took as long as it has.

JED, you have my sympathies on the plot-bunny problem. I don’t have a hutch of them. I don’t have a queue. I did–for a short period of time–have a refugee camp…but they filed for city status and have since become the thriving, bustling, nose-wriggling megahopolis of Plot Bunny City, which is now roughly 1/3rd the size of NYC.

Incidentally, there are a few good Buffy moments later in the series after Buffy dies…again…(though I still kinda wish she stayed dead), my personal favourite being with Xander, after he has yet another Demon chick try and do nasty things to him, he gets sick of demons and women in general and goes to Will “I’m going gay. I’ve decided I’m turning gay. Willow, gay me up. Come on, let’s gay.”. There’s more to it, but I missed it the first time around as I was too busy laughing my arse off.

Jean - I can’t imagine not being able to come up with a long form ongoing storyline and still keep it fresh and interesting. If your characters have depth, eventually they start writing themselves. My example in the mainstream media is “Gunsmoke.” 27 fucking years using the same basic bible, experimenting with new characters, developing and expanding the star characters but always coming back to home with Matt, Doc and Miss Kitty. (and Chester and later Festus) 27 years people kept tuning in to get entertained. It was formulaic, but it was a good formula. And they never ran out of ideas.
Kaila - Okay, how many times do you need - really NEED - to kill the slayer and have her resurrected? Or, for that matter, how many times do we need to see Xena crucified? Jeeeeeeeze ….

Wysiwig - Well, so am I, but I always loved the fireworks in the opening of that show. A little not-too-subtle reminder that the show was basically an anthology of sex comedy.
