I'm so happy you adopted an older black cat. Black cats get overlooked a lot in shelters because people are still superstitious (seriously). My friend (who is a wonderful person, I swear) leaves a message on the machine saying "Ah - we have this cat from a friend and Lisa's violently allergic and so is Logan.
