   Still no one ROFL yet, though it looks like the redheaded guard is going down in the last panel. Zona must have really “got around” so to speak, for everyone to be laughing this long and this hard.

   Love it, just love it! Ipola wiping the tears from her eye, the pony-tailed guard first sucking in air, then having to hold his stomach…everyone’s muscles are gonna be sore from so much laughing.
   Zona’s irritation is priceless, too. Did anyone notice Yatta blowing air through his lips in the last panel? He just don’t get it.

   Yes, it is, Zona. Yes, it is.

   Oh man. That made me laugh so hard I could have passed for one of the villagers. When this goes to a print version this page and the previous should be a centerfold or something to keep that perfect flow. Je yo made me laugh so hard I had a coughing fit. As I just got over a case of bronchitis if you end up triggering a relapse my mother will be most irked at you.
   Just kidding (I hope anyway)

   @Princess Is that what he’s doing? I can’t really tell does certainly kind of look like it though and it would be funny.

   My take is basically it would be like Conan the Barbarian coming home to Cimmeria and having some high-falutin civilized broad with a sword show up that’s been harassing him about duelling her because he’s a virgin and she wants to take his virginity. To his “homies”, as it were, the entire situation would be beyond hilarious - literally gut-bustin’ funny.

    Yatta and Mentl seem to be looking at each other in the first frame - Mentl actually keeps a somewhat neutral expression there - for the circumstances anyway. In the middle two frames Mentl seems to be waiting for the explosion - last frame he’s “ah, there we go”. Gotta love Zona’s slow boil though. XD Nothing like old friends and family to keep you humble.

    What I find most amusing is the stoic look of disbelief on Yatta-ta’s face.
    He’s still not convinced she’s telling the truth. I do hope he’s not stupid enough to call them liars. Then again…this is Yatta-ta we’re talking about.

    Panel three, right about the middle, in the background…did anyone besides me notice the girl in the dark loin-skirt and top…the one receivin’ the “down low” part of a high-five? XD

    Love Zona’s expression in panel 3, too. Yup, the joke is funny, but definitely is going on too long at that point…but then Tula’s final comment is sooo accurate all the same… *haz sympathies for the warrior princess*

    Actually, in the final panel Yatta looks like he might be beginning to have some doubts.
    Nice to see I wasn’t the only one who thought Tula and the guard were having a “Do you remember” dialogue only in my mind it involves a pair of fraternal twins and a wallaby.

    Lol, I love Ipola’s ‘don’t mind me’ gesture while she’s turning around so she can laugh and dry her eyes without facing either Yatta-ta or Zona. Oh, how I know what she’s going through; I frequently have tears of laughter, lol.

    Hmm, maybe the girl with the brown loincloth and the ‘down five’ know something special about Zona’s lovers? (Or is one).
    And yes, I think red head guard is going down! With laughter!

    In all this discussion about what kind of character, and how badly delusioned he is or isn’t, Yatta-ta’s commen in panel 1 of page 104 is pretty interesting in hindsight. A compliment because a fool is pure of intent? A compliment because he portrays himself successfully as a fool (but then the comment makes no sense, as a person simply wanting to project a persona wouldn’t thank people for perceive him as that persona)? Or something really sneak from JD?

    Local Yokel - Thanks much. It’s one of the pages I had wanted to do for a long while, and I myself am a bit disappointed in it, but then I’ll never match exactly what I have imagined, so you just have to keep going and hopefully get better.

    Someguy - Well, I certainly hope you didn’t kill yourself. It’s not like it’s Monty Python’s Wartime Joke, and fatalities among Zona’s fans would make some people suspicious. Definitely take care of yourself.

    Jim Farris - Even moreso. Remember, Zona started out as a porn comic, and while I have not included all of the incidents from her past incarnation in canon, she was still XXX-tremely active when she was younger.

    dolo-pzora - I struggled with that one. Literally went through three renderings (the face doesn’t look *quite* the same before you render it) before I got that.
