It’s a test for the containment spell effect on Pg 278. I liked it, but decided to go in a slightly different direction.

Nice effect on this one, but yeah, too much. I like what you settled on. We need to see big bad and ugly.

i liked the test version. magic is supposed to be shiny and flashy and bright as nuclear fusion; having Big Ugly almost hidden by the spell’s effects really shows its power. but that’s just imho.

I liked this effect, but it hides Gorshash too much. For the battle scene, I liked the effect you used in the comic. It looked like Tula tried to contain him, but he broke free of the spell. Perfect for a battle.
