Nice dialogue piece. Keep it up brother-mine.

Poor little Prince I-wannabe-king is going to end up hurting I think, along with a whole bunch of people around him.

My lo- My friend??? I can only come up with one fill in the blank for that one. Which would explain Tethik being there. Old times indeed. (See JE’s comment last page.) Je you’re a sly one.

my lord or my love? does Morcai look a bit like Maldik in the face?
May 6th, 2009 at 12:57 am
Fantastic modeling on this one. Especially the facial expressions. Keep up the good work!

Second pic of Dandelion reminds me. Needs to get a new swipe card…
May 6th, 2009 at 6:30 am
I think it was definitely going to be “My Lord.” Morcai doesn’t seem like the kind who would use endearments even with his own mother, yeh?
May 6th, 2009 at 11:46 am
Steve, Thanks, Bro!

Thanks!
Kamatu, Ah, but Maldik has powerful friends …
warnie, well, I duhno. Dandelion is cute, and bodacious in her way, but … hot?
Nytsky, The Tanners is based on Southwark in medieval/Renaissance London. Being across the Thames from the Square Mile, it was outside the jurisdiction of the Lord Mayor, and the Privy Council and the King usually just let it fester. It was where you had all the stews, playhouses (The Rose, the Theater and The Globe were all in Southwark) bear and bull-baiting, cock-fights, tavern s of ill-repute and other things barely mentionable. Not exactly a Thieves Quarter from DnD, but seedy - oh, so seedy. Glad you like it.
Lebbrin, Not saying one way or another right now.
aPrincess, I’m sure it’s because Morcai has the same very common pageboy hair style as His Royal Turdness. The faces are quite unlike, not even using the same model: Maldik=Michael 2, Morcai=Michael 3.
Ted, Oh, go on! Really. Go on.
Kern, well, it’s her cash machine, after all …
MaryLynne, not saying.

I like the detail on the last panel. Tethik looks genuinely tired. The events of the evening are starting to get to him.

I want to see more of ‘Mumsy’…ooook, that came out completely wrong. You know what I mean - her majesty is an awesome character. I’m waiting for her to either sneak out of prison, or end up converting half the place into her own personal budoir.

All those “yeh” are annoying
May 7th, 2009 at 1:29 pm
Kaila, you shall see Yanora again, though not very soon. Still, I have a scheme or two of my own, which may involve her …
M - It’s supposed to be, yeh? Morcai’s an annoying little prick. But don’t worry - only one more page of this, and then we get back to our intrepid adventurers.
