    I was laughing through the whole page-soon as I saw the THOOM! THOM! and the OOHHs in between I KNEW what was going on-Liri and Keltan putting her new “education” to good use.

    Too bad the “teacher” most likely ain’t getting any tonite. Even if Mentl wanted to, I doubt he could, um, concentrate…

    Thanks, everyone! Yeah, I thought this one would be worth a couple of giggles. I thought maybe the two of them should put up warning signs like a traffic sign saying “Caution: Giants Doing It,” but I try to keep the comic’s internal consistency clean.

    Suffice to say, nobody sleeps tonight.

    MENTL (looking crabby): ask the giants.
    TULA (turning to the giants and seeing the happy, satisfied looks on their faces, maybe even hearing Liri singing): Oh. Never mind.

    cyberskull and Elfguy, Imagine he does that. As soon as he sings the first line, the fires go out, Tula’s healing spell is cancelled, and no light from outside can get in. Sings the refrain and suddenly any sound, including anything he or Tula might chant to counteract the spell is completely nullified. Silence, darkness, and panic. That is, at least in his own mind, what he’s afraid of happening if he uses he really new-found powers in anything but a critical situation. He’ll learn, of course, but give him time. In the comic, it’s only been two or three days since his breakthrough.

    I imagine Mentl and party will have moved on by the time this comes up, but - I wonder if there is going to be a baby giant? They are both fully human from human families, just with the mutation or environmental trigger turning on a gene or whatever. And the giants were regular sized when born. Will the baby be a regular human size baby? Is the giant gene dominant- will the baby stay regular or become giant? Maybe they’ll have to get a regular human wetnurse - can you imagine caring for a newborn the size of your thumb?

I found your comic on your domain as a link from somwhere else…read thru the archives and then caught up with you when you moved to this site only I couldn’t FIND this site?
