I first wrote and published this story back on the original (and now defunct) NIGHTMARE WORLD website in 2003. At the time it was only the seventh story I had even written, but to this day (over 70 published short stories later) I still think it’s one of the best ones I’ve even written.

Considering this, hopefully you’ll all enjoy it too.

OK… so here’s the deal.

Given that this is the Holidaze Season we’re taking a sort of “mini-vacation” this week before we start the next new NIGHTMARE WORLD story next week… meaning it’s time for another installment of NIGHTMARE WORLD Sneak Peek Week!

Believe it or not, NIGHTMARE WORLD: “13 Tales of Terror” Volume 1 from Image Comics/Shadowline will be on the shelves of comic shops and book stores nationwide THIS THURSDAY!

So, if you pre-ordered a copy from you local comic shop, your wait is over as of this week. If you ordered it from Discount Comic Book Services, you’ll be receiving your book and your signed script shortly. If you ordered it from Amazon, you’ll have it before Christmas!
