Some more random doodlings and noodlings out of the ol’ sketchbook…

I get a lot of e-mail from aspiring cartoonists asking about their sketchbooks and loose drawings… about lil’ wasteful doodles (there are NEVER wasteful doodles) and all that sort of stuff. So, in the next few days, I’m gonna post some chunks of my own little crazy doodles out of my sketchbooks, just for fun, to show that yes, we all sit and mindlessly doodle little nothings for pleasure or to vent our brain! Some doodlin’ fun from a page out of the ol’ sketchbook…

Something from the sketchbook - my sketchbook from back in January. A lil’ doodle of Barbarella (the 60’s movie). I can’t encourage keeping a sketchbook enough. It’s a place to unwind, unleash your ideas, your thoughts, to breathe with your pencil or pen. My sketchbook is as needed as the food I eat or I’d go nuts! It doesn’t have to be perfect. It can be unfinished, and in any way you want it to be.
