If you don’t recognize the food their talking about, you are obviously not a Star Trek fan. For the curious, recipes for all 3 (and plenty more besides) can be found in the The Star Trek Cookbook. While blood pie wouldn’t be my first choice (not a huge fan of organ meats), both the gagh and racht are made with noodles–much safer for the average palate.

Considering the original Klingon dishes are made with worms (still wiggly ones, at that), is it any wonder their names are somewhat onomatopoeiac for one’s reaction to them?
