Ew, talking money with friends is never fun, imagine it with almost-strangers! Anyone want to take a guess at what a condo-style hotel costs for 10 days in Vegas? It works out well for each girl, when you look at it per day, but it’s still a little ouch-enducing even still.

Wow are there really 10 day conventions???! The longest I’ve seen is like 4 days…
After an unfortunate incident my first year as a sort of group con coordinator I always insist the hotel money be in my account BEFORE we leave to get the hotel. All it takes is one fool who stupidly thinks she can give you the money a week AFTER the con to give you a heart attack and critical eye every onward.

I don’t think there are, actually, but this is my version of the world, right? Rather than smush everything that I want to happen within the space of 3-4 days, I thought a week+ would be better. The only 10-day events I’m aware of are SCA Wars & the like.
